Sarah How - NZ

Sarah How, a 33-year-old Co-founder and General Manager of Landify Ltd, is dedicated to building a platform that connects individuals interested in exploring farming partnerships. With ten years of experience working directly with farmers, she is now focused on scaling Landify for transformative impact.

Raised in a passionate arable farming family in Mid Canterbury, Sarah now resides in South Canterbury with her husband and two children. Her proudest achievement is leaving a secure job to establish a business aligned with her passion. In her spare time, she enjoys horse riding, tramping, and assisting during harvest.
Sarah believes a mentoring package would be transformative for her personal and professional growth. Since Landify's launch a few months ago, the overwhelming support has come with pressure to clearly define their path, identify areas for scaling, and remain true to their mission. She finds it challenging to discern what to say "no" to while balancing purpose with profitability.

Currently, Landify aims to disrupt the barriers younger farmers face in accessing land, with aspirations to evolve into a fintech company providing capital solutions for the next generation of farmers. Sarah envisions that in five years, Landify will create financial tools that change lives and offer farming families genuine options for the future.

With a stronger network and a mentor who understands her mission and can provide guidance, Sarah is confident in her ability to turn this vision into a lasting reality for herself, Landify, and the farming communities they serve.

In addition to her role at Landify, Sarah is an MBA student and Gough Family Foundation Scholar, expected to complete her studies in 2025. She also volunteers for the AWDT mentoring programme and serves on the board of Community House Mid Canterbury and the Fundraising Committee for Geraldine Preschool.
