Tess Herbert

Tess owns and operates a sixth-generation family farming business - cattle feedlot, lamb and wool production and crops, silage and hay production - in the central west of New South Wales. Tess has previously been the President of the Australian Lot Feeders Association, a director of the Federal Agriculture Minister’s Red Meat Advisory Council, Chair of the Australian Beef Sustainability Framework Steering Group and Chair of the Red Meat Panel.

Currently Tess is a non-executive director of Meat and Livestock Australia, the independent chair of the Grains Industry Sustainability Governance Council and the Chair of the Local Land Services State Board in NSW. Tess has a Masters in Agribusiness and is a graduate of AICD and Australian Rural Leadership Program.
