"Hugh Dawson realised a great passion for agriculture while working with Barkly Pastoral Company on the extensively developed, Beetaloo Station in the Northern Territory of Australia.

During this time with Barkly Pastoral Company, Hugh was able to develop a diverse range of skills and stimulated a further interest in people management and agribusiness.

Hugh has been involved with several industry representative groups and has experience working on volunteer committees and engaging with media.
Through work in these volunteer roles, Hugh is motivated to improve the public perception of agriculture as well as to promote the opportunities and benefits of a career in agriculture in Australia to others.
