Katie Vickers

2022 NZ Finalist

Katie grew up on a sheep and beef farm north of Kaikoura and her mission is to support and accelerate change in NZ’s food and fibre sector. When applying for the award, Katie was the Head of Sustainability and Land Use for Farmlands.

In her current role, Katie provides Farmlands with technical and strategic leadership in on-farm sustainability.

Katie believes it's an exciting time for the food and fibre sector, and she wants to challenge our thinking about how we tackle the changes that are facing our industry.
