Lisa is currently operating her own business, Nurture Farming Ltd, which services lifestyle blocks in South Auckland.

Additionally, as of 2022, the small farm she leases became the first SPCA certified sheep and beef farm in New Zealand.

Lisa enjoys hosting school groups and open days on her small farm and getting Aucklanders engaging with agriculture. She has 2 young sons who love to farm with her.

Lisa is a Kellogg Rural Leadership Programme graduate, and three-time Northern Young Farmer of the Year. Lisa is also the current Auckland Regional Coordinator for the Ballance Farm Environment Awards.
