Rhys Roberts, CEO The Align Group

Rhys is the 2021 New Zealand recipient of the Zanda McDonald Award.

Along with his team, he operates 10 farms and a market garden. The Align Group is also a vertically integrated business with a bespoke milk processing facility and an FMCG dairy brand.

Rhys is passionate about value-based food production and supply chains, transformational employment models and navigating strategic change within the farm gate. Rhys has a growing interest in governance with multiple positions within the wider agriculture sector

Rhys is heavily supported by a wife, Kiri and two children, Gus-7, and Lotti-5. An active relaxer with a keen passion for all things outdoor.
